Hours of Operation

Tuesday–Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Closed on Sunday & Monday

The NC Pottery Center is closed on major holidays. Announcements regarding holiday closures will be posted on the homepage.

Cost of Admission

The cost of admission covers entry into the museum, access to the Seagrove Potter example display, and all current exhibits.

(Applicable taxes are included.)

Adults – $2.50
Ages 13-18 – $1.00
Ages 12 & under – FREE
NCPC members – FREE

Gift Shop & Maps

  • The Center has a small Gift Shop. You do not need to pay admission to go into our gift shop.

  • Free maps of the local area are located at the check-in/gift shop counter.

Restrooms

  • Each of our restrooms has a wheelchair-accessible stall.

  • Changing tables are available in each restroom.

Limited Mobility Guests

  • The Center has two accessible parking spaces for limited mobility guests with vehicles displaying handicap placards.

  • The Center's main building and educational building are wheelchair and walker-friendly.

  • Each of our restrooms has a wheelchair-accessible stall.

  • The Center's picnic table area out back is unfortunately not accessibility friendly currently. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Parking

  • The Center has a free parking lot directly across the street from our building.

  • Visitors may park and leave their vehicles in our lot if they want to walk around the downtown Seagrove area. Cars will not be towed.

  • RV’s and Campers welcome. (Please inform employees before parking your vehicle overnight).

Service Animals & Other Animals

  • Service animals specifically trained to aid disabled persons are welcome.

  • Pets are not permitted. Emotional support animals are not service animals as defined by the ADA.

Smoking

  • No smoking of any kind (e-cigarettes, vapes, etc.) is permitted.

Weapons

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted, including concealed carry firearms.

Photo Policy

  • Photography is allowed.

  • Visitors are welcome to take photos and/or videos for personal use only.

  • Visitors may NOT take photos of our employees without their knowledge and/or consent.

  • Selfie sticks are not permitted inside the building

The North Carolina Pottery Center reserves the right to photograph, videotape, and/or film our members, visitors, and guests, on the Center’s grounds for promotional purposes.
