Hand carved salt-fired porcelain.
I create wheel thrown and hand built functional and non-functional pieces ranging from tableware to yard art. I work in gas-fired stoneware, electric-fired earthenware, and raku. My signature pieces are wheel thrown, altered, and hinged boxes.
We make functional and sculptural ceramics in a salt glaze wood fired kiln. Items include plates, bowls, vases, jars, mugs, planters, big pots, fountains, abstract sculpture, and wall art.

I make and woodfire functional and sculptural ceramics in Walnut, NC. My work is a study of thousands of years of historical form with a contemporary take on surface.

We make a series of lamps and other decorative items. All pieces are hand built with slabs, hand carved, and fired with ash glazes.
Making wheel-thrown, functional pottery for 40 years. Figurative drawings are featured on the earthenware clay vessels using slips, etched surfaces, and brush work. Glazes and slips give more depth to the surface.
Turning Mud Into Gemstones since 1999, hand made pottery cabochons layering Jugtown's glazes. The stones are set in sterling silver, accented with 14K gf, semiprecious stones, and bronze. One of a kind designs in a full line of jewelry.
