Learn the bonsai basics!
Enthusiastic local bonsai teacher Harold Johnson will give participants a thorough introduction to the beautiful world of bonsai in this workshop.
Participants will learn how to create, style, and care for these living landscapes. Harold will have a variety of bonsai on hand to show which species make good bonsai and will demonstrate how to turn nursery stock into a starter tree.
After learning about the aesthetics of bonsai pots, participants will create their own ceramic planters!
