The roots of North Carolina’s long and rich pottery tradition lie deep in the creation of utilitarian ware for everyday life, but today’s ceramics encompass much more, embracing a wide range of forms, styles, and technologies. Different Shapes is a celebration of the diversity of sculptural work that North Carolina’s potters are creating now.
