Leading up to this year’s annual gala on Saturday evening, September 24th (Save the date!), again at CAM Raleigh, we are partnering with CAM Raleigh to sponsor two free CAMversations with North Carolina potters.

Please join us for the first CAMversation at CAM Raleigh on Wednesday evening, June 15th, from 6:00-7:30 pm for casual presentations by Ben Owen III of Seagrove and Gay Smith of Burnsville, Q&A, and a light reception.

Ben, of course, really needs little in the way of introduction as he is one of our state’s most well-known potters, and Gay is a phenomenal and award-winning potter in her own right from our mountains!

Ben and Gay will be talking about the significance of North Carolina pottery, discussing their own work, and will even have a few pieces of their work to show off.
