August 17, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Mark Hewitt & Senora LynchLeading up to this year’s annual gala on Saturday evening, September 24th (Save the date!), again at CAM Raleigh, we are partnering with CAM Raleigh to sponsor another free CAMversation with North Carolina potters.

Please join us for this second CAMversation at CAM Raleigh on Wednesday evening, August 17th, from 6:00-7:30 pm for casual presentations by Mark Hewitt of Pittsboro and Senora Lynch of Warrenton, Q&A, and a light reception.

Mark is, well, Mark! He’s a highly regarded potter who is well-known for throwing some rather large and impressive pots, as well as his “Southern” British accent! He is also the current president of the North Carolina Pottery Center board of directors. Senora is a wonderful Native American potter and member of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe who is also well-known and highly regarded for her exquisite and intricate carved designs. Both Mark and Senora are award-winning potters!

Mark and Senora will be talking about the significance of North Carolina pottery, discussing their own work, and will even have a few pieces of their work to show off.

We hope you’ll join us for what is certain to be delightful and fun evening!
