Marsha has been a self-employed potter for over thirty-five years, concentrating on utilitarian pieces for everyday use. She works extensively with colored slips and various resist techniques, as well as carving and texturing the clay.

I make functional and decorative stoneware. I draw inspiration from nature, particularly trees and birds. I love to wood-fire for the effects of natural wood ash and flashing, using a wide variety of clay and local materials.
