Functional pottery.
We make functional and sculptural ceramics in a salt glaze wood fired kiln. Items include plates, bowls, vases, jars, mugs, planters, big pots, fountains, abstract sculpture, and wall art.
I create wheel thrown and hand built functional and non-functional pieces ranging from tableware to yard art. I work in gas-fired stoneware, electric-fired earthenware, and raku. My signature pieces are wheel thrown, altered, and hinged boxes.
Hand carved salt-fired porcelain.
Primarily wheel thrown with hand built elements, about half of my pottery is functional kitchenware. The rest are unique outdoor & garden pieces such as wind chimes, birdhouses, feeders and luminaries.
Wheel thrown,decorative, functional, high fired stoneware using a gas reduction kiln, wax resist and slips to create vases, dinnerware, lamps, mugs, bowls, pitchers, jugs, covered jars, etc.
Four Paw Pottery creates wheel thrown hand sculpted face jugs, face bowls, face mugs, and whistles.
