We make wheel thrown and hand built porcelain pottery. All pieces are functional and decorative.We specialize in crystalline glaze. Many pieces have elaborate pierced designs, cut out by hand. All work is made on site, by Frank and Cindy. We have been in Seagrove since 2010.
Our gallery features pottery and jewelry. Our studio offers the opportunity for visitors to watch pottery being made, as well as instruction in pottery and jewelry making, and other arts and crafts.

We make a series of lamps and other decorative items. All pieces are hand built with slabs, hand carved, and fired with ash glazes.
Pottery for us is a way of life. A lifestyle we cherish greatly. We strive to make each final piece the best it can be. Taking great care and consideration to each material, process, tool and technique that we use. We give our all into our craft and in doing so some part of us goes into the work as well.
Primarily wheel thrown with hand built elements, about half of my pottery is functional kitchenware. The rest are unique outdoor & garden pieces such as wind chimes, birdhouses, feeders and luminaries.

Established in 1972, New Salem Pottery makes plain and slip-decorated earthenware using local clay. Reproduction and original works.
Mud Duck Pottery makes functional and decorative high fired stoneware with ash glazes. A full line of lamps is available, and we will make custom lamps on request. We also have horse hair pottery in traditional and decorative shapes.
